Another year, another excuse to do what we do best…

Like a dog with a bone, we are drawn year after year to entertain you with our menagerie of unique performances.  2017 is no different.

First, for those of you who are new to this site and to what we do, thank you.  For those of you that have been around for a while, first off, thank you for sticking around.  Second, we couldn’t do what we do without our fans.

Who are we? We are a group of people who love to shadowcast classic cult films.  What is a shadowcast you ask?  Think cosplay mixed with musical theatre and film.  A shadowcast is a group of actors who get onstage to do a performance of a movie while the movie itself plays on the background, therefore casting shadows on the screen. First started by The Rocky Horror Picture Show, other movies that are often shadowcast are REPO! The Genetic Opera, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Phantom of the Paradise, and Dr. Horrible’s Singalong Blog.

Here is what you can expect from us this year:

Hedwig and the Angry Inch on Salt Lake City, Utah’s Pride Weekend on June 2, and 3, 2017.

Special performances of The Rocky Horror Picture Show on June 24, 2017.

Repo! The Genetic Opera on Labor Day weekend, September 2, 2017.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show, as usual, on the last two weekends of October and Halloween night.

We are diligently working to expand our repertoire and bring you the best officially sanctioned shadowcast performances in the state of Utah.
